I have lost my best friend and my dad. Unfortunately due to covid in India. My Dad is the only son in his family, he was the caretaker of the house. He had left to India to take care of his mother (my grandmother). I was worried, I had told him not to go; he had promised he would be back on my birthday. Instead, on May 10th on my birthday I got a phone call saying my dad was taken to the ICU. I stayed up praying and crying asking God to let him make it, I am his only child. Due to lack of oxygen and no ventilator my father passed away Wednesday morning on May 12th. My heart aches that he's gone. I have no more words to express how lost I am without him.
