My niece Ashlyn was recently diagnosed with Philadelphia Chromosome–Negative B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia found primarily in adolescents and young adults.
Her treatment plan is very aggressive and very long. She starts chemotherapy tomorrow and will have four types of chemo, one of which requires lumber punctures. Unfortunately, this will be a very long, challenging battle for her.
Her mother will need to take a lot of time off from work while she stands by her daughter fighting this battle at Emory in Atlanta.
They need all the financial support they can get to pay bills, cover travel expenses, and offset the loss of wages during this horrible time. As a parent, I could not imagine worrying about finances while you are watching your child fight for her life.
All financial gifts no matter how small will be greatly appreciated!
