Ashlynn's Medical Expenses & Open Heart Surgery

Hello my name is Amber and I am raising funds for my sister/niece. Ashlynn (my niece) is a normal 14 year old in most things but she knows this upcoming summer she will be undergoing an open heart surgery. This isn't her first surgery but it has been 14 years since her last one.

In 2021 the average cost of a heart valve replacement surgery was $170,000. My niece needs this surgery to survive. She was born (and recently diagnosed) with Noonan Syndrome, Scoliosis and a few other things that are also associated with Noonan Syndrome. She has skull and jaw deformities and vision problems.

Because my sister is currently working as a CNA and working towards becoming an RN she does not qualify for government assistance so other than insurance (which has not covered any of their telehealth visits with their Omaha team) the cost of this live saving treatment is all on my sister and her new husband.
