I have never done a Go Fund Me but I am so hopeful we can help this couple out. My friends daughter, Ashlynn, and her husband, Randall were impacted by the storms this past Wednesday. Ashlynn is 29 weeks pregnant with their first child. They just closed on their first home. Unbelievably, as shown in the pictures, the floodwater came in so fast and destroyed the foundation on the house they just closed on. They hadn’t even moved in yet! I was shocked to hear this could happen. At this point, the walls have cracked and the foundation is gone. After saving for years, their first house is unlivable due to the devastation. They might never be able to move into the house and will have to start over. They have spoken with insurance, but at this time they have been told that it likely will not be covered. If you have ever dealt with insurance, you understand how hard it is to get a claim processed when needed. The stress this is putting on Ashlyn and her pregnancy is not good. The baby has been measuring very small and if she doesn’t grow over the next couple weeks, they are planning to deliver the baby. My heart goes out to such a young beautiful couple just starting out.

Any donation (even just a few dollars) or prayers will make a huge difference for this couple. I just want to give them hope and support. Money to try to do something out of pocket or to find another place to live before the baby comes.
