Have you ever heard the phrase "you really can't make this stuff up?" Well Ashlyn Jordan Brown and her family are living proof that awful things happen to good people.
Ashlyn suffered a horrific car accident at the hands of a drunk driver who was here illegally, had no insurance, and has avoided legal action because he vanished. She has been bed-ridden for 50+ days with 12 more weeks to go.
As of this week, her husband's employer closed the nationwide business with less than 24 hours notice. After 14 years of dedicated service, Eddie is now unemployed, insurance dropped, retirement gone.
As a result of the loss of insurance, her wheel chair and hospital bed are literally being taken away today. Yes you read that right!! Not to mention no more physical therapy to teach her how to walk again. PT alone is $210 per week.
I personally can't think of a better "reason for the season" giving opportunity.
