To all family, friends, and anyone taking the time to read this, I/we thank you for all the love, support and prayers throughout this very trying time.

Ashley White is 17 years old and is in the Pediatric ICU at UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento, CA. She is fighting for her life, but slowly showing signs of progression. She has had extensive monitoring of her heart with echocardiograms and X-rays. She is on a ventilator, heavy sedation, feeding tube, and several intravenous lines with various medications.  Her brain, at this point, shows no signs of distress after being without oxygen for a unknown period of time. 

She is in very critical condition, but responding well to treatment due to the excellent doctors and staff at this facility. I am truly amazed by the knowledge and care of the people I have met here in the last few days. 

Due to UC Davis being 100 miles from their home, I am looking to raise funds to help my sister, Ashley's mom, with travel, housing, meals, and other various expenses that arise while Ashley is recovering. It's going to be a  long, tough, road ahead for Ashley and her family.  Her recovery timeline at this point, we were told, could take months.
