Ashley is a walking miracle. She was rushed to the hospital after passing out at work on the morning of 8/4/2020. They found a massive blood clot and rushed her to surgery but she flatlined on the operating table and had to be revived. They were able to revive her after roughly 10 mins but this time frame resulted in substantial brain damage due to being hypoxic.
The doctors told us to prepare ourselves for her to never wake up or if she did that she would be a vegetable but we declared her healing and complete recovery in Jesus name. Roughly 7 days later she woke up, she moved her toes and then her legs, she was coherent and mouthing words. The doctors are amazed because her second MRI shows almost no damage and the little spots left over are healing.
She was released from the ICU and hospital a few days later because she is recovering so quickly that the doctors are speechless. She has now been flagged as strong enough to leave inpatient rehab and continue her recovery journey at home. God has healed her and we are watching it manifest daily after the doctors had virtually given up hope. We have a road ahead of us, a testimony behind us, and are continuing to walk in faith as her miracle manifests fully.
She is making amazing progress daily but we know she Has a journey of neurological rehab to get back to 100%. God has blessed us with her miracle and amazing insurance but there are costs that we know will not be covered. While the outpouring of love, support and encouragement has been overwhelming there are those who have asked what else they can do for us. Due to COVID and her ongoing recovery we need to minimize as much exposure as possible via gifts, flowers or food so we open this channel. Any gift will go towards her recovery journey and anything above our needs will go to a local charity who focus on neurological rehab as a blessing to those in need.
Ashley is a Conqueror, she walks in Victory over this storm and more than all she is a walking testimony of His miracle working power. All donations will go to help cover the cost of getting her to and through this rehab so she can get back in the classroom training Conquerors and World Changers at Victory Christian School.
