Ashley's Urgent Need: Save Family Items

My name is Ashley. Most of you know me and my children. We were evicted because the landlord wanted to renovate and stopped accepting money. We moved in with my best friend in Schuylerville, and that didn’t work out. All our stuff is in storage, and because of not having a stable place to stay, the money I have has gone towards room and board and food, and I have not been able to pay on my storage for two months.

We are currently living in a hotel through DSS. The children and I have lost so much and are going through a hard enough time. I know it’s too much for one person to afford and I will be able to make my February payment, but right now everything we own is about to get auctioned off unless I pay today. I planned on paying with my paycheck, but DSS told me I’m not allowed because I have to take 75% of my pay to go toward paying the hotel. I have also called other resources to see about help with storage, and nobody helps!

Everything is in there: my mother’s stuff, just invaluable things that can’t be replaced. My children’s stuff, their handprint art, just everything. I’m begging for as much help as possible to get as close as I can to the goal. I’ve tried to make partial payments but gal doesn’t accept partial … it’s extremely frustrating
