Hello! My name is Ashley, I am a sophomore in high school. This year, I had the opportunity to apply for the CIEE program!! I applied and got accepted with a scholarship of $4,000!! This trip will help me learn the language and culture of Japan! I would be looking to use these skills in the future! However, there are still some funds that my family and I aren’t capable of covering.

Not only is this a good experience, but it would be an amazing opportunity to add to my applications when I’m applying to college in a few years! However, I need to raise the rest of my funds. Your support will help me travel across the world for the first time. This isn’t a journey I think would be cool to brag about, I genuinely want to learn Japanese and gain skills, that I could use in the future.

Even if you’re just sharing, and cannot directly donate, that would still be appreciated!! I know this trip would be great for me to grow and gain navigation skills, responsibility, and independence. I have never had an opportunity like this in my life, and I’m hoping to reach my goal!!
