This go fund me is being created to help reconnect my dear friend Ashley, with her daughter who she has not seen or communicated with in over 9 months.
As many of you know, Ashley is a role model and dear friend to many. One of her most important roles in life has been to be a mother to her sweet daughter Scout. Ashley and Scout have always had a strong and close relationship. As close of a connection that any mother and daughter could have. The time she spent in the NICU with her to the time spent teaching her how to read at the age of 3. Because of the way Ashley has nurtured Scout, she has learned the importance of loving herself and others.
Unfortunately her marriage ended with Scouts father with much turmoil and bitterness. Due to the impending child custody lawsuit, no details can be shared.
What everyone thought would be a clean start for this little family has turned into and continues to be a nightmare. Ashley has been excluded from many milestones in her daughters life, such as her first day of school and her baptism. Mentally and physically this has taken a tole on Ashley. I have witnessed the anguish and pain of her not having Scout in her life.
I am seeking financial help for Ashely. Currently, she is doing everything on her own due to her exhausting all of her own funds. With the donations we are hoping to help Ashley get a lawyer as she has been representing herself. She has currently been attending court without council, and it has been brutal.
Ashley is one of the most selfless people I know. She has helped so many people around her that now it is our turn to help take care of her and relieve some of this financial burden so that she can be reunited with Scout.
