Hi I am Brooke and I have started this page to help support Ashley on his way to Gold !!

As well as spread the word about Deaf football Australia and the lack of funding provided to the players to help them to compete in tournaments like these ones.

I’m honoured to share that Ashley has been selected to represent Australia in Deaf Football at the Deaflympics, taking place in Japan in November 2025.

With over 15 years of soccer experience at Springwood United Football Club—including several years in the Premier League First Grade team—His had the privilege of dedicating much of my life to the sport He loves,

In 2023, Ash was also selected to compete in the Deaf Football World Cup with Deaf Football Australia, an unforgettable experience that deepened His commitment to the team and Deaf Foot Ball community.

This next step—competing at the Deaflympics—is a dream come true and a chance to stand proudly alongside His teammates and other deaf athletes.

Unfortunately, Deaf Football receives no government funding, meaning each player and athlete must cover their own travel and participation costs to be able to go.

During this time he needs to take time off work and be away from family putting a big financial strain on his family.

I asking that Any sponsorship or support , This would help make a real difference , with getting Ashley over to Japan to represent Australia.

To fulfil a dream that many kids dream about, representing your country at a world stage —and hopefully bring home the gold.

Deaf Football Australia is supported by The Foundation Shed, a registered charity that helps deaf and hard of hearing individuals reach their full potential in sport. All funds raised will be managed through The Foundation Shed to assist with all Ashleys travel expenses.
