UPDATE: as of 7/21/25

Dad is still in the hospital. Going on at least 6 weeks now. He had severe acute pancreatitis. As well as lots of gall bladder stones still. Multiple stents have been placed. He had surgery last week to remove necrotic tissue from his pancreas. It was successful but only time will tell. A tube was placed in his nostril to allow for drainage after the surgery. He will still need his gallbladder removed in the near future. Won’t be able to work for several weeks to months. Because of all of the issues with his gallbladder, pancreas and liver, he is now a type 2 diabetic. Which requires twice a day insulin shots.

Diane is still trying to support the household bills on her own. And be able to be with Dad at the hospital as much as possible. But it’s been rough

My FAJAH! (It’s an Austin powers reference lol) is very sick. He’s been in the hospital since 6/9/25 so at least 11 days so far. The doctors don’t really know exactly what’s wrong. But he has been getting procedures to help figure it out. He’s having issues with his pancreas/gall bladder & liver. They’re all closely related so it makes sense. But the doctors can’t seem to find the actual cause. They think he has pancreatic stones. He’s been anesthetized and gotten scoped twice, they found no stones but placed a stint the second time. My step mo Diane is trying to work and take care of the household herself. She has pets and other family member who depend on her.
