Ashley Deveau's Cancer Battle-Take 2

Donation protected

And round 2 begins, prayers everyone

Hi, my name is Jamie, recently we got the very sad news that my niece, Ashley Deveau, is in for the fight of her life, again.

Ashley is just 34 years old.
Almost 2 years ago now Ashley started having extreme back pain, she would go to the ER, each time they would turn her away, essentially accusing her of being drug seeking, one Dr even gave her a card for mental health and addictions; so she suffered, alone.
Some time around the end of 2023 beginning of 2024 Ashley started bleeding heavily, to the point she passed out and an ambulance had to be called, her hemoglobin was 47. The hospital transfused her and sent her home. It happened again. This time some investigation was done and they discovered she had cancer, her back pain was from the tumor, being large enough to cut off the flow from her kidneys, she needed a nephrectomy tubes to help drain them.
February 26, 2024 she was diagnosed with stage 3C small cell cervical cancer, her chances of survival were slim. A very rare and very aggressive cancer.
She fought, HARD.
6 rounds of chemo, 6 weeks of radiation and 3 rounds of brachytherapy she was told her tumor was gone and her scans were good!

During this time Ashley had no job and no insurance, her mother, Monica, and grandparents were her main physical, moral and financial support. Monica had to take months off work to drive her to appointments 2 hours away and staying with her during treatments, causing great financial strain from which they were just beginng to recover, working 70 to 80hrs per week just to recuperate, when the unthinkable happened.

Ashley had a follow up scan January 8th.
The cancer had spread to her lymph nodes in her stomach and chest.

We are devastated to say the least, the first round took a great toll on her grandparents health, her grandmother has become ill, and Ashley, upon getting the initial all clear had become the main caretaker in the house, where she is living.
Her first response after hearing the news was, "How will I look after Nanny and Grampy?"

This cancer is so rare they have very limited treatment options, radiation won't work, so they have the option of 2 chemotherapy drugs to try, they will treat and scan after every treatment, if one doesn't seem to be working they will move on and try the next. All of this means Monica will once again have to take a leave from work to support her and bring her to appointments, which once again will put a huge strain on them, physically and financially.
If you read this far, thank you.
Anything and everything anyone can give would be a huge help during this time, whether that is financial aid for gas, accommodations and meals during treatment, or medications not covered or prayers and well wishes.
