Ashley Fletcher's Burial Fund
Donation protected
As most of you know my daughter Ashley committed suicide & passed away on March 3, 2016 from a gunshot wound to the head. Her greatest gift that she gave upon her death was being an organ donor, and was able to save 3 lives, by taking her own. She had been struggling with depression for many years, which in turn made her turn to drugs, & heroin as a way to escape her pain. Unfortunately her addiction took control over her life, even though she tried many times to overcome her addiction. But in the end the addiction won, and now I have lost my beautiful daughter forever. She was a very warm, compassionate & loving girl, that always put everyone else's needs above her own. She would do anything to help out others in need, without a second thought.
She was more than just my daughter, she was my best friend. We were very close, & we always had sleepovers after she moved out (to start her own life), and would sit up all night and watch movies, and laugh over the stupidest things. I'm really going to miss her laugh and seeing her beautiful smile. I wish she could have seen the beauty within herself, or how loved she was by many family members and friends.
She wanted to work in the health care field to help others, so I believe that by donating her organs, that was her ultimate sacrifice to help others in need.
I was able to pay for her wake, and a memorial for Ash, but I would like to be able to bury her at the cemetary, so I can have a place to go and sit and talk with her.
Anyone that knows me, knows I hate asking for help, but unfortuantely I need a little help to be able to pay for the burial part. I will not be able to bury her for at least another 6 weeks, so I would appreciate any donations that anyone could give, to help me be able to accomplish this. No donation is too small, and I would greatly appreciate it. No parent should have to bury their child, ever!!!
Thank you.
