I am opening this Go Fund Me campaign for my niece Ashley. Ashley is a 27 year old mom of three that has been a strong fighter her entire life. Recently she was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer that has spread throughout her body. This money will be used to help pay medical costs, travel costs for treatment, and the costs associated with caring for her three kids while she is under treatment. Below is a description of what she is battling that she posted on the Sarcoma Alliance website.
"Hello everyone, I wanted to share my story. On Wednesday November 14th I went into the ER for back pain. On August 10th I had my first compression fractures but no doctors were able to give an answer as to why. On Wednesday November 14th I had an xray and found that I had 5 new compression fractures and that was the cause of all my pain. After doing lab work and mri the team at the hospital determined I had cancer and rushed me to Mass General Hospital in Boston. the doctors at MGH completed a number of other tests and biopsies and determined that I have ARMS cancer and that it was form that could not be cured. My cancer started in my right sinus likely while I was pregnant with my son and then spread to my left sinus, lymph nodes, right breast and all the bones in body including my skull. I am 27 years old and have three young children and I am healthy otherwise. The doctor has told me that my worst case outlook is 4 months to live with my best case being 5 years. In either case I will be having treatment every three weeks for the rest of my life."
