Ashley Way Soukup Memorial Fund For Her Children

Ashley Way is the wife of Tom Soukup and the mother to two joyful boys, Arthur (4 years old) and Jude (2 years old).  When pregnant with their third baby, she was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent treatment for the cancer during which she experienced a miscarriage of their baby girl. While recovering from that loss her treatments continued and it appeared the cancer had resolved, however, this winter (2019) new symptoms developed and it was confirmed that her original cancer had spread to her lungs. Despite all available treatments this spring, tragically the cancer has continued grow. She will be transitioning to hospice this week (end of April 2020). As Ashley says goodbye to her friends and family, one ongoing worry she has is the care of her boys. Although there can be no replacement for her love, caring, kindness, or joy, knowing there will be someone around to help care for her children when her husband Tom has to return to work is one way we can all help.

The hope and primary goal from your donation is to provide funding for Tom to hire help in the form of reliable child care and to provide a source of financial aid for Arthur and Jude to pursue their educational dreams.

Being able to provide a set of caring hands to be present and available to help care for the boys when Tom cannot would provide some much needed stability in all their lives. Even when Tom has to return to work in the Emergency Department, care for Arthur and Jude has always been Ashley's top priority so this GoFundMe will aid in continuing Ashley's aspirations for her children's wellbeing.

All donations received from this will go entirely to the Soukup family to pay for needed childcare and education expenses of Arthur and Jude (the children of Ashley and Tom).
