Hello friends, I am making this go fund me on behalf of our friend, Ashley Warner. In July of 2021 Ashley was diagnosed with clear cell carcinoma of the ovaries. Since the diagnosis she has be unable to work while accumulating significant medical and credit interest debt while just trying to keep her head above water. She has applied for disability through a lawyer. It will help, but not a living wage. Her family is on a fixed income that was comfortable under optimal conditions, but is very lean between Ashley’s cancer and the stroke her mother suffered soon after her diagnosis. In that time Ashley has endured 7 surgeries (the initial ovary surgery with spillage, 4 level cervical spine surgery before chemo, a radical hysterectomy including lymph nodes, cervix, and the end of her colon. A vaginal cuff had to be created, port surgery and removal due to infection, another port, and reoccurring kidney stones, followed by 6 months of chemotherapy. Clear cell carcinoma is a very aggressive and rare form of cancer and has a very high likelihood of returning. It is know for hiding and rapidly spreading. The best prognosis isn’t a long life. Any help she receives will go towards medical and living expenses, while possible giving her the ability to pursue alternative forms of treatment. Thank you for donating, and if you are unable to so, please send prayers for Ashley. Both would be outstanding! Update: What was thought to be only severe neuropathy from the chemo, is now also paralysis from the lumbar spine. Another surgery to hopefully correct this issue will be occurring soon.
