Ashley has been a nurse for over 26 years. She has spent her entire lifetime caring for others. From her early days in the Neuro ICU to the oncology center as a breast health navigator, Ashley has touched the lives of many. She’s also worked in the PACU recovering patients after surgery and has been doing what she loves best, caring for patients with neurological issues as an advanced practice nurse. She has always been there for others. Now, it is our turn to care for her.

Ashley and her husband, Michael Shane, have built a beautiful Christian life together. From college sweethearts to their 25th wedding anniversary last year, they have shared it all. She is a devoted wife and loving mother to two wonderful children, Caleb and Lila.

Now, this incredibly independent woman and her family are facing the gut-punch diagnosis of stage III breast cancer. They are ready to fight, but treatments are long, and expenses are mounting. Ashley needs to focus on her battle ahead and her passion; her work caring for others is something that cannot be in the forefront at this time. We are hopeful, but the future is unknown.
