33 Weeks Pregnant, Multiple Pelvic Fractures, and a Long Road to Recovery — Please Help Us Support Ashley
What started as a normal day turned into a nightmare. Our sweet Ashley, 33 weeks pregnant with her first child, fell over 10 feet through an attic floor, landing on the garage floor below. By the grace of God, both she and the baby survived — but her injuries are severe.
Ashley suffered multiple fractures to her pelvis. She was hospitalized and in tremendous pain, unable to walk or care for herself. After days of uncertainty, we are relieved to share: we’ve finally got Ashley home! But she still has a very long road ahead.
She’s currently bedridden and unable to walk without a walker. Her doctors estimate it will take a minimum of 8 weeks for her fractures to heal — but her baby is due in just 6 weeks. This means she will be navigating the end of her pregnancy, delivery, and the start of motherhood all while recovering from a traumatic injury.
To help prevent dangerous blood clots due to her immobility, Ashley is now receiving daily blood thinner injections as part of her treatment. She’s also undergoing regular monitoring for both her and the baby’s health.
We cannot express how grateful we are for your prayers, love, and support during this terrifying time. Truly, God is so faithful — and we are thanking Him every day that this wasn’t worse.
How You Can Help
Ashley is unable to work and, with so much of her energy going toward healing and preparing to give birth, she still needs many baby essentials and help with everyday costs. Your donation will help with:
Medical expenses from the fall and her ongoing care
Equipment to assist with mobility and recovery (walker, safety aids, etc.)
Essential items still needed for the baby’s arrival
Household expenses while she is unable to work
Even the smallest donation is a blessing. If you can’t give, please share this campaign — and keep Ashley and her growing family in your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
