Hello, I'm Lauren and I am raising funds to help my sister-in-law, Ashley Madea, and her boyfriend, Damon Gross, recover from the devastating fire that destroyed their house on June 11, 2022. Luckily, no one was hurt as Ashley and Damon were out of town and the amazing firefighters were able to rescue Ashley and Damon's pets! Unfortunately, however, everything else was lost. The pets had to be taken to an emergency vet for 24-hour observation due to smoke inhalation. They are recovering well and are staying with relatives, but Ashley and Damon now face the daunting task of finding a place to live for themselves and their pets. It will not be an easy task in this horrible housing market, and they will have to replace all of their electronics, furniture, housewares.....everything. The bills are already piling up as they look to book emergency flights home and pay for emergency vet bills. Ashley and Damon are two of the most generous people I know. Ashley is a speech therapist who has dedicated her life to helping children with speech delays and with Autism Spectrum Disorder find their voices! Damon always goes out of his way to help others, whether family or friends (whom he always treats like family)-he'd give you the shirt off his back in an instant! Please consider donating to help them rebuild their life. This is a tragedy that is hard to imagine going through.
