On February 23rd, Ashley Lieber received life-altering news: she was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. She is now facing an intense and uncertain road ahead, beginning with aggressive chemotherapy as her doctors work toward one goal—eradicating the cancer from her body and getting her into remission. While Ashley is ready to fight with everything she has, the year ahead will bring extraordinary physical, emotional, and financial challenges.
Ashley is the eldest daughter of Cheri and Robert Arciniega, and a loving sister to Brooke and Jacob Arciniega. Above all else, she is the devoted mother of her 6-year-old son, Germain, who is her greatest motivation as she begins this long road ahead.
Her doctors have shared that Ashley is strong, healthy, and vital, and because of this they believe she is capable of undergoing an aggressive treatment plan with the goal of eradicating the cancer in her body. She is scheduled to begin intensive chemotherapy in mid March, which is expected to last 4–6 months. The intensity of treatment will likely make it impossible for her to work during that time.
Following chemotherapy, Ashley will face major surgery—a single or double mastectomy—followed by additional therapies that are still being determined. Altogether, her full treatment plan is expected to last 12–14 months as her medical team works diligently toward getting her into remission.
This diagnosis has completely derailed life as Ashley knew it, making everyday responsibilities and long-term plans uncertain. As she focuses on fighting this disease and staying strong for Germain, the financial weight of treatment and daily life continues to grow.
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $100,000 to help support Ashley over the next year with:
- Medical bills and treatment costs
- Supportive therapies during chemotherapy
- Care, support, and activities for Germain when Ashley is physically unable to keep up with daily needs
- Nutrition and immune support while undergoing intensive chemotherapy
- Lymphatic massage and energy work to support healing and recovery
- Daily life expenses while Ashley is unable to work over the next year
Ashley is deeply grateful for the love and support already surrounding her. Her family, friends, and community have shown up with incredible compassion during this difficult time.
Her brother Jacob shared it best:
“Ashley is an embodiment of healing energy for herself and others. We all know she is going to pull through and inspire many along the way.”
Any support—whether through a donation, sharing this page, or offering words of encouragement, and prayer will help Ashley focus on what matters most right now: healing, enduring treatment, and being there for her son.
