Ashley Lee for Miss Senior 2025

Gift Gugu Mona said “a smart woman fixes her own crown. She does not dethrone other women from their own glory. For she knows on her own, she is strong” and I plan to stand by that throughout my candidacy . I am Ashley Lee, a 20 year old junior pre-med biology major hailing from BedFord-Stuyvesant . And it is with great honor that I announce my candidacy for Miss Senior at Thee Illustrious Kentucky State University .

Being a first generation college student to a humble and hardworking family; i’ve been surrounded by nothing but resilient , ionized women . However , as a young girl I never thought i’d be where I am today . Kentucky State University has taught me more about myself than I can learn in a classroom. K-State has introduced me to professors who care about my wellbeing , education and mental health as well as long lasting amazing friendships.
