While Ashley didn’t make it to the birthday party or our spaghetti dinner benefit, we know she was with us and is so proud of how this community came together for her family. Ashley Latora is a local Mattawan mom who was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 colorectal cancer in 2021 and is now in full blown liver failure with few days left to live. Ashley is currently home with hospice, living her life literally day by day.

Her only goal at the moment is to survive long enough to see her daughter’s birthday on January 21st and to be at her first cheer competition the weekend after.

We are working to raise some extra money to help cover any expenses the family may need- whether that’s household bills, cheerleading expenses or medical bills after Ashley passes. We are asking the community to come together by donating gift cards and items for the upcoming in person Spaghetti Dinner Benefit on February 17th at Antwerp Township Hall, time TBD.
