Ashley Jones Budai and Family

November 6, 2021 was just the beginning of Ashley's worst nightmare. This day started off as a fun day for her son, Zachary Cindric. A group of boys ventured out together to do what 21 year old's do. Later that night Zachary and his friends returned to his home. Ashley's son was home and safe; she could now lay her head down to rest.

Around 6am Ashley was awoken to find her son suffered an accidental self inflicted gun shot wound that took place in the kitchen of their home. The home that was shared with his mother and his two siblings.

Zachary was taken to Jameson Hospital and immediately life flighted to ST. Elizabeth's. Within thirty minutes we were informed of the severity of his accident. Zach, her 21 year old first born was placed on life support with minimal brain activity. We all continued to pray for a miracle as Zach fought for his life. A little more than 24 hours later, Ashley received the worst news a parent could ever imagine. Her son, Zachary no longer had any brain activity and there was nothing more the doctors could do.

Zachary was an amazing charming young man that was loved by everyone he knew. He was the protector of his family, he was a friend, a brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, and above all, A SON.

Ashley is a single self-employed mother that will need extensive time to process and grieve the death of her beautiful son, Zachary.
