Ashley Hutchison Sledd Medical Fundraiser
Our dear friend Ashley is the mother of two beautiful children, Mason (14) and
Callie (6). She works as a registered
nurse and currently takes classes to
become an advanced nurse practitioner.
Ashley was struck with excruciating
abdominal pain while competing in a
bodybuilding competition in Nashville,
TN on October 17, 2020. It was found
that the pain was being caused from her
intestines which had been operated on
previously when she was a teenager. She
underwent emergency surgery that
evening followed by a second surgery 48 hours later. A few days after discharge
from the hospital complications arose
forcing her to be transferred by
ambulance back to Nashville from her
home in southern Illinois. During her
second hospitalization she has endured
two additional surgeries and faces more procedures in the future to repair her
intestines and get her back on her feet.
It is our goal through this fundraiser to
help alleviate some of Ashley’s financial
burden caused by her medical condition.
All donations will be used toward her
medical costs and related travel
expenses.
