My name is Dustin.  I have a sister that I love dearly and has always been one of my closest friends.  I'm raising money because on the night of October 25th, she awoke to a fire that took place in her apartment attick.  Fortunately she had boughten a smoke alarm two weeks previously and awoke to her phone alarm (it was linked to the smoke detector).  Most importantly, she has good friends of ours that are currently allowing her and Hariett to stay with them.  I'm proud of my sister with the fact that she up and left Wichita to start a new life, a new journey, and move to Brooklyn, NY.  It took a ton of courage, courage that I relish.  I want to help her out as much as possible so I've started this site to try and raise funds to send to her.  The only thing she salvaged was Harriett (her dog / child) and a few clothes.  The rest perished in the fire.   Better news is that her and her three roomates survived, unscathed.  The worst part is that the fire department deemed her apartment condemned and unlivable for at least three months.  A dollar, a few dollars, whatever it may be, will be truly be appreciated for eternity.  Thank you for taking the time to help my sister out.
