Hello everyone from Kirk Merrington Half Moon FC

everyone who plays Sunday league football knows that lads and lasses are playing for the love of the game and everyone is aware that players run the risk of injury which could have a wider impact on home life. But nobody who plays the game expects to turn up on a Sunday and be assaulted during a football game, leaving them unable to work.

this morning, one of our own, Ash has been assaulted during a game, which has now left a self employed family man out of work for an unknown timeframe, awaiting to see if he needs surgery for a broken collar bone. Everyone is aware of the impact this can have.

we as a team have started doing football cards to raise money for ash, but we have also decided to start a go fund me page, anybody that knows Ash will know he is a good lad, competitive and will do anything to help anybody else, so if anybody can help out no matter how big or small, I am sure it would be greatly appreciated from ash and his family and also from us at Half Moon FC
