I am a long-time friend of Ashley's, and knowing the challenges she is facing every day breaks my heart. Ashley was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer last year and has been receiving treatment. Over the last six months, the cancer has returned and is now on her lungs. She has had several surgeries on her leg where the cancer started and will be having another surgery next week. The doctors are replacing the rod in her leg with high hopes of it healing. Meanwhile, she is being admitted every 2 weeks for 5 days of aggressive chemotherapy. Ashley is one of a kind; to know her is to love her. Her biggest love is her fur babies. The cost of travel and eating on the run is not cheap. She is unable to work right now. Her family has been taking care of things, including feeding her babies.
With so many doctor's appointments and hospital stays, etc., I would like to help as much as possible. This money would lighten her stress load some and give her the ability to order food when the hospital doesn't have what she wants, etc. The little things in life that make people feel the most comfortable. Just the ability to pay for the gas and meals for her mom or dad would make a huge difference. If you know Ashley, you know exactly what I mean. She would give you the shirt off her back and never ask for anything in return. She has the biggest and most genuine heart. If you can donate, please do. No amount is too small. I'd like each and every one reading this to lift her up with prayers. There is so much power in prayer! Any amount of donation and every prayer will be greatly appreciated. ##ashleycowncancerfight## With all the love and prayers, we will beat this cancer!!!
update on Ashley
Ashley has underwent several surgeries, including a leg amputation. They still have to address the spots on her lungs that are cancerous. We know this is going to involve more Dr visits, hospital stays and meals on the road, etc.. Everyone must know that with the leg amputation, everything in her lifestyle has now changed. There needs to be modifications to her home so that she can have easy access in and out. Any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated. I’ve never done GoFundMe before and I apologize for those just seeing this for the first time. Please share this and help me promote it and let’s make a difference for Ashley today. Ashley would do it for you! Here is Ashley’s cash app if you prefer to donate directly : $AshleyCown22. I love every one of you for your support!
Update:
Ashley was suppose to start radiation on her lungs last week but her blood count was extremely low. There she received blood instead. She will attempt the radiation therapy again this week. Please pray they are able to get started. This is a very aggressive type cancer and needs to be addressed.
