Ashley and her family have been greatly affected by living in an apartment with mold. The landlords have to renovate her apartment and have no other apartments available. They were paying for a hotel for her and her family to stay in but will no longer be paying for that, essentially leaving her without a place to live. They said they won't refund her deposit and some months rent after they previously said they would.

The landlords said they will no longer directly communicate with Ashley and only want to communicate through lawyers.

There will likely be high costs associated with lawyers, medical bills, missed time at work and finding a new home. All of this while not feeling well can be extremely draining and stressful.
