Together for Ashley: Supporting the Search

On October 14, 2025, Ashley Bosma disappeared near Comox Lake.

Today marks 206 days without answers.

206 days of wondering where she is.
206 days of hoping for a phone call that never comes.
206 days of her family, friends, and loved ones living in a constant state of heartbreak, exhaustion, and uncertainty.

Ashley is deeply loved and deeply missed.

For over 25 years, Ashley has been one of my closest friends. More than a friend really, she is family to me. A soul sister. I am very close with her mother Sandy and one of her sisters, and I have watched this loss tear through every part of their lives.

Since Ashley disappeared, there have been no confirmed sightings, no real updates, and no closure.

Still, we refuse to stop searching for her.

Every month, we continue traveling to put up posters and keep Ashley’s face and name visible. We continue sharing her story because one of the hardest parts of all of this has been feeling the silence grow louder as time passes.

Outside of the initial media coverage during the first month Ashley went missing, there has been very little public attention. But for the people who love her, time has not moved on.

Ashley struggled with addiction and was unhoused at the time she disappeared. We know that can change how society responds to cases like hers. But Ashley is not disposable.

She is a human being.
She is loved.
And she matters.

Many people have asked where the fundraiser money has gone, so we want to be fully transparent.

So far, the funds raised have already gone toward:
• travel costs for family members
• accommodations during search efforts
• posters and awareness materials
• ongoing coordination and support expenses

These are not one-time costs. After 206 days, the emotional and financial toll has become enormous.

Although the fundraiser has raised over $7,500, only about $3,000 remains after the expenses already incurred trying to keep searches and awareness efforts going.

We have also increased the reward to $6,000, despite not having enough remaining in the fundraiser to fully cover it. I personally committed to covering the difference because keeping hope alive and encouraging information to come forward matters that much.

Our goal now is to increase the reward to $10,000.

Someone out there may know something.
Someone may remember something.
Someone may finally decide to speak.

We understand there are many details people are curious about, but out of respect for the family and the ongoing investigation, we are trying to keep certain things private.

What we need most right now is visibility.

Please share Ashley’s photo.
Talk about her.
Keep her name out there.

Because after 206 days, silence becomes its own kind of heartbreak.

From all of us who love Ashley, thank you for caring, sharing, donating, and refusing to forget her.
