As many of you may know, our beloved Ashley Brown was in a terrible car accident early Saturday morning on her way home from work. She was trapped in her vehicle before the emergency team and first responders were able to get her out and airlifted to Stroger hospital. She has several severe injuries and underwent surgeries immediately and was put in a medically induced coma and was placed on a ventilator. She is now awake and, on the mend. Ashley is a loving and amazing mother to her one-year-old son Joey. She has worked 2-3 jobs to provide for him, and she won’t be able to do that for some time now. She is going to have medical bills, not only from the hospital but for ongoing medical care, treatment, and rehabilitation. Ashley has a challenging road ahead of her, and she needs our support now more than ever! We need to come together as a community and help this amazing woman, daughter, mother, and friend.
