The war in Ukraine continues to take an unimaginable toll on innocent Ukrainians. Servicemen and women are in need of supplies on the front line, military personnel are in need of rehabilitation and support when they return, and children are in need of support to help them cope with the trauma of war.

This October I have decided to make a personal, self-funded trip to Ukraine to visit and support three very worthwhile charities who are all in desperate need of funds.

I would be so very grateful if you could please help me raise funds for these charities. 100% of the funds raised will be personally sent to each of these charities and I look forward to providing updates of my visits whilst I am there so you can meet and hear from the recipients directly.

The first organisation are known as 'Choice - the space for Defenders' and and are based in Lviv. They provide help and support to Ukrainian Defenders treating trauma and PTSD related injuries from their experiences on the front line. From training therapists to conducting art therapy workshops, their programs provide a place of strength and support. They are in urgent need of financial aid to maintain the programs that they operate.

The second charity are known as the 'Humanitarian Headquarters' and are a local group of dedicated Ukrainians based in Ivano-Frankivsk and who hand make camouflage netting to protect the lives of military personnel on the front line. russian drones swarm front-line positions and these netts are crucial at keeping Ukrainian defenders hidden from view. And in Kyiv I look forward to visiting 'Voices of Children' who are an organisation providing comprehensive psychological support to children living through war as well as providing assistance to wives and mothers. Some of the activities they run are children's camps, art labs and many other programs that help children and parents cope with the effects of war. 100% of funds raised will go direct to these charities and I will be sharing proof of bank transfer. All my travel expenses are entirely self funded.
