On April 20th Ashley suffered a devastating stroke. First and foremost, our family thanks God that she is alive and asks for your prayers throughout her recovery.
Cognitively, Ashley is doing remarkably well, however, the physical effects of the stroke have left her with a very long road to recovery. She has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility for intensive speech, occupational and physical therapy.
Ashley and Patrick are fortunate to have health insurance but their out -of-pocket limit is very high. This combined with the loss of Ashley's income and a multitude of other unexpected expenses is overwhelming.
Anyone who knows Ashley and Patrick would know that it is very difficult for them to ask for assistance - that is why I am starting this fund. They are an incredible couple who are loving parents to AJ, Jack and their third child, due in early November! They need our help and prayers now more than ever.
