Imagine starting your young adult life with all the best and wonderful things life could bring. Newly married, beautiful new baby, and promising career. Then in the span of a few short days, your world is flipped upside down. Ashley and Matt were well on their way to living the American dream until May 14th.
Shortly after Ashley delivered, they discovered Baby Maddox had a rare congenital heart condition known as Williams Syndrome. He underwent surgeries (including open heart surgery at less than 2 weeks old to correct the complications surrounding the disease. On June 6, just 23 days after his birth, sweet Maddox’s heart could no longer stand the strain.
As any parent can imagine, Ashley and Matt are devastated and attempting to cope with the loss of their precious baby. They are TRULY thankful for the time they did have with Maddox who filled their hearts with the love of his tiny life. Although we know nothing can bring back this little angel, we are standing on the premise that we are our brothers’ and sisters’ keepers.
We hope for Ashley and Matt to find solace in Maddox’s memories, but this can be hard with the medical bills arriving daily. Please consider contributing to this fund to help defray some of these large bills so that Ashley and Matt may focus 100% on their path towards healing and coping with this terrible loss.
