We’re Ashley and Brandon, creative partners and founders of From A2B Studios. Thank you for visiting our 2025 fundraising page!

As producers, directors, and writers, we’ve worked individually with some of the world’s biggest studios and organizations (ABC, Disney, OWN, BET, CBS, FX, the NBA, and more). Five years ago, we took a leap of faith, joined forces, and started our own business—bringing over a decade of experience to From A2B Studios. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding.

We’re thrilled to share that our HBCU/N.C. A&T documentary, Our Blues Make Us Gold, is now airing on Comcast's Black Experience on Xfinity and Xumo Play. You can watch the preview here. 

This milestone proves what we can achieve with determination and limited resources, but we know it’s time to take our studio to the next level—and we need your support to make it happen!

Here’s What We’re Planning:

Building a Team – We need to hire freelance editors to create trailers, sizzle reels, and pitch presentations for our upcoming projects.

Securing Grants – Seeking grants is crucial, but the process itself requires resources—from application fees to expert consultations that help us submit competitive proposals for funding our next 3-4 films.

Virtual Assistance – Hiring a part-time assistant will help us focus on strategy and creative development while keeping production running smoothly.

Filmmaking is expensive—the average documentary costs $1,000 per minute. While family support and personal funds helped bring our first film to life, scaling up requires real investment. With your help, we can build a sustainable creative team and aim for major platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and more!

Every dollar counts—whether you give $10, $25, $100, or more—no amount is too small or too big. Your support means everything, and we’ll keep you updated on our progress throughout what’s shaping up to be our busiest and most exciting year yet!
