Friends and Neighbors, as many of you may have heard, Ashley Burton had an accident this weekend and sustained multiple and severe injuries from a 12 foot fall off of a roof while making repairs. His injuries include an unstable spine injury. All ribs fractured, collapsed lung, hairline neck fracture, broken arm, broken nose. He was tranfered to Tyler this afternoon to the Trauma Unit and will have his back operated on at noon tomorrow. His neck injury does not seem to be a threat to his spinal cord, but the back injury is obviously of concern. The next issue they will address is his arm, and he may in fact have broken both arms, although the one they are going to operate on is the worst, and he will wear a halo around his bicep until it heals. He's scared. He's worried for his family, and as any man would be, how the bills are gonna get paid at least in the next coming months. I feel like there's no shame in reaching out, I've done it before, and I am a huge proponent of Go Fund Me because it allows people to easily help where help is needed. Please pray for this family as they go through this scary time and please give out of the abundance of your heart to help them.
