Hello World Community!

I'm Jennifer, and my dear friend Ashley Smith has been displaced from her home in Treasure Island, FL by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, Ashley and her fur babies are all safe. However, Ashley lost the majority of her belongings to flooding and wind damage. Helene didn't leave much for residents to come back to and salvage.

This GoFundMe is to help Ashley with her displacement costs. FEMA and insurance only cover so much, and the documentation, red tape, and sheer number of people accessing the aid, make that resource challenging to work with in any quick manner. We are hoping to help Ashley with a fresh start and to provide some peace of mind, while she figures out what to do next. Any amount helps. It will be weeks before she knows what the long-term looks like for her living situation. Thank you so much for thinking of Ashley!
