The search for Ashleigh’s Angels. Are you one?
October 4th, 2018 was one of the happiest days of Ashleigh’s life, when she exchanged vows with the love of her life Tim, and the father of her two year old daughter, Isla-Jay.
Full of hopes and dreams the newlyweds prepared for their new life together in Hervey Bay, unaware that in less than a month their world would come crashing down around them, when Ash discovered a 2-centimetre lump in her breast.
Within nine weeks and after multiple biopsies, the lump had grown to 15-centimetres and breast cancer was then confirmed.
Instead of planning their honeymoon, the young couple began planning Ashleigh’s cancer treatment.
Scraping together all the money they could, Ash flew to Mexico for treatment at the Hope for Cancer clinic.
Upon her return and after celebrating Mother’s Day with her family, Ashleigh felt pain in her ribs and back. Now this week, only ten weeks after her initial diagnosis, she received the devastating news the aggressive breast cancer has now spread to her bones.
The young mother refuses to give up as she has so much life to live and so much to give. Like all parents, Ash looks forward to celebrating milestones and making memories with her family. Little Isla needs her mummy, and husband Tim, is desperate to help his wife fulfil her dreams and grow old together.
Ashleigh’s bone cancer treatment will set them back tens of thousands of dollars while she continues to fight this dreadful disease.
Ash and Tim are hurting emotionally and financially, but with the support of Ashleigh’s Angels, we hope to alleviate some of their financial burden.
Will you be an angel for Ash?
