Ashleigh Vandenberg For Jackwood Ward, City of Melton

Thank you to all the people who have supported me over the past 4 years in my first term on local government. Together we achieved infrastructure and road upgrades, parks and open space enhancements, delivered transport options for struggling families to attend council facilities as well as increased CCTV at troubled dumping locations as well as holding people to account.

This year I will be running for the newly created JACKWOOD ward where I reside, the area is experiencing delayed infrastructure roll outs and requires a strong, experienced voice.

If re-elected to Melton Council I will continue to be a Councillor that listens, advocates and gives the community a strong voice on the issues that matter to them. I want your input, I want to ensure that your voice isn't ignored.

This includes keeping rates capped at CPI (0% increase of rates above), Increased kinder places, family services and advocate for more police, Beautification and upgrades to our sporting facilities, parks, reserves, roads and footpaths with Greater pensioner rates discounts and aged care, disability and youth services.
