www.caringbridge.org/visit/ashleighs Amy & Jerrett Sloan's daughter Ashleigh was diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia ) on August 13, 2018 at 13 years old.   Especially shocking news to our family as we’ve been watching my mom suffer through her second cancer diagnosis, surgeries and 18 weeks of chemotherapy.  Ashleigh, like Grandma, has an unbelievable attitude and such strength and grace.  It has been an extremely difficult, emotional, heartbreaking month for our family.  No child should ever have to suffer through this awful disease.  She still has a long road ahead with 2.5 years of treatment, 6-9 months of intense chemo.  Ashleigh will not be able to attend her 8th grade year of school and is really missing soccer and her friends.  Despite all of these challenges, Ashleigh continues to keep the most incredible spirit.  We are so grateful for every single glimpse of her beautiful, sweet dimples.  Thank you so much for the outpouring of love, support and encouragement!
