Hello! My name is Ashlee and I’ve lived downtown Chicago for 20 years since I was recruited by my first job in tech sales in October of 2005. I’m 42 years old, I never married and I don’t have children. I’m so grateful to be an auntie and a godmother to many. I love to practice and teach yoga. My free time is often spent in nature with the people I love most.
I love to document, share and most importantly inspire others through these experiences. I’ve run the Chicago marathon twice. I’ve traveled the world and I’m writing a teachable memoir on all the lessons I’ve learned along the way that I think can help others.
One thing that I didn’t do, that I feel is holding me back today, is prioritize my finances. I’ve always been a single income household and thus far, I’ve failed to invest in my financial foundation. I’ve given to others before I’ve given to myself, that’s my nature. These choices have left me in debt and at risk of seemingly losing everything I’ve built.
I’m excited to be able to continue to share my journey. I plan to utilize the funds by investing in the production of my podcast, book and the tv show I've been invited to film! All of these projects have out of pocket licensing, travel, marketing and distribution costs. I'm excited to have more space to travel, write, record, document and share in an effort to help myself and others live a more fulfilling life. This will allow me to be of better service overall.
Any support, both monetary and loving advice, is welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, we’ve only just begun.
