ASHHO CULTURAL COMMUNITY & JOB TRAINING CENTER!

Please support the creation of Thurston County's first Cultural Community & Job Training Center. This center has been in Khurshida's dream since she moved here from MA in 2005. The question that has been her driving force for the center is , "where to Black, Brown, Native, under-resourced and under-valued folks go to belong and network?

Now we can say we finally have a BRAVE place where our experiences, voices, stories and needs can be heard, seen, valued and created. At our FUTURE Cultural Community & Job Training Center located at the old Pellegrino's Catering and Event Center in Tumwater, WA.

The Cultural Center will provide wide range of fun, educational, engaging gatherings and events to bring light to hidden community issues yet creating resources we need to not just survive but THRIVE together. The food service job training program has been purchased from FareStart Catalyst Kitchen which will give hope and many opportunities to people facing barriers to employment and resources.

 In the mean time, we still expenses in order to continue to operate. We would be so grateful for your support, contribution and involvement as we begin to open up programs and services.
