P.A.I.D./Jamey Ryan Higgins Memorial

In March 2009 my world was shattered..My best friend, Jamey Ryan Higgins, lost his life due to a drunk driver..Since this tragedy, his father Larry created P.A.I.D. (People Against Impaired Drivers) and the Jamey Ryan Higgins Memorial Foundation. We have worked endlessly to spread the word on the dangers of driving impaired. Larry travels throughout Indiana and connecting states with the enclosed trailer that holds the car that Jamey lost his life in. He can be seen in all surrounding fairs and festivals, he speaks at surrounding courts and schools. He has made it his life's mission to spread the word, even if to save just one life. If you haven't seen or heard him speak, it is something that you should experience at least once.
People fail to realize that IMPAIRED driving is not just someone under the influence of alcohol or drugs..it's also includes anything that hinders your ability to drive such as: texting and talking on the phone, eating, applying makeup, socializing, reaching down to pick up that french fry that just fell between the seats...ANYTHING THAT TAKES YOUR EYES OFF THE ROAD OR DISTRACTS YOU...
We are asking for donations to help us continue to do what we do..we are a non-profit organization and all monies donated go straight to funding our missions. We also are trying to raise money to buy new tires for our truck and  trailer as well as maintenance for both. Being on the road every day of the week takes it toll on them both..We also use the funds to purchase shirts, business cards and other marketing materials that we pass out to get the word out.
