Ashford 26k Relay

As you know the current Covid 19 crisis is having a huge impact on all charities and their opportunities to hold and run events which raise vital funds for them to continue to operate. With this in mind we are hosting our first Ashford Estate 26k Relay this Friday May 1st at 2pm.
The 26K Relay will commence at Daisy House.
We are seeking 13 volunteers to each run 2K on the day.
The event will take place with ensuring social distancing is observed.
Virtual Relays are also welcome so get tagging your friends and family to join and donate to this amazing charity on the doorstep of the Ashford Estate.
We are asking all employees of the Estate both Castle and the Lodge to donate €5 euro to this wonderful charity, Daisy House! Please read more below:
Cancer won’t stop during the coronavirus pandemic and neither will Cancer Fund for Children
With each day we spend at home, during these challenging times, another family in Ireland will receive the devastating news that their child has cancer. Children are going through aggressive cancer treatment and their families face additional worries about delays in treatment plans and further separation due to isolation restrictions.
Families tell Cancer Fund for Children that they couldn’t cope without support and demand for therapeutic short breaks is only going to increase throughout this crisis.
Cancer Fund for Children are making sure that they continue to provide a lifeline of therapeutic short breaks and emotional support to children and families beyond this crisis and also remain very committed to raising funds to build a new therapeutic short break centre Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo.
