Asheville Music Hall French Broad Brewery Hurricane Recovery
Donation protected
On the evening of September 26, 2024, through the morning of September 27, Hurricane Helene brought heavy rains exceeding 14 inches and strong winds to Asheville, NC after making landfall as a Category 4 hurricane in Florida. More than 440,000 people are without power in Western North Carolina. Roads are impossible to travel, and even if they were, there is no ability to fuel up vehicles. Many have no cell service to communicate with friends, family, authorities, and others.
All monies donated to this campaign will go directly to the Asheville Music Hall and French Broad River Brewery, who are partners of ours here at Nectar’s Presents. Both have been significantly impacted by this devastation of ‘biblical proportions’. Asheville Music Hall has encountered devastating flooding, and French Broad River Brewery, at one point, was completely underwater. The funds you donate today will assist with obtaining food, water, cleanup, and other resources needed for the staff and families of these venues to survive.
You can find additional information about Helene recovery resources on the City of Asheville’s website at https://www.ashevillenc.gov/news/tropical-storm-helene-recovery-resources/.
We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to donate. A little bit goes a long way.
