Asher's Musical Adventure Needs Your Help

Everyone of you know how proud I am of my sons. They continue to amaze me! It is truly a blessing to be their mom. Asher auditioned for the Drum and Bugle Corp over Christmas Break with his tuba. He decided to audition again this Spring on Baritone. He taught himself how to play over the last few months. Well, he was accepted!!!!! Yes, my baby will be touring this summer with the DCI group Seattle Cascades.

This group is based in Portland, Oregon. I just got my heart and brain wrapped around the fact that he is graduating in a couple months. Now, he will be going to camp in Oregon in April and then again in May. In June, he leaves and will travel around the U.S. until August. This is a great opportunity for him to expand his musicianship, travel, and meet new people who love marching as much as he does. Participating in band has really busted him out of his shell.

The tuition (tour bus, room, board) is $5,000 plus the cost of 3 roundtrip flights, supplies, uniform extras, and spending money. Since he became a member later in the semester, we have to pay quicker than others did. If you can donate anything, it is greatly appreciated.

I am so very proud of this young man who first made me a mom. Lord please continue to be with him. Congratulations Asher!
