Asher's Chance
Donation protected

Asher is our sweet 3 year old boy with severe developmental disabilities. We are hoping and praying that regenerative medical treatment might help him achieve some normalcy in life.
Born 13 weeks premature, Asher has suffered debilitating brain bleeds and seizures, resulting in Cerebral Palsy and limited use of the right side of his body. His eyes are functional but Cortical Vision Impairment (CVI) limits information relayed to his brain, so he is legally blind. Despite these disadvantages, he is a happy child who needs every chance to interact with his brothers - Wyatt 5, and twin Eli 3 (also dealing with some “preemie” disabilities of his own). Targeted stem cell therapy (humanely harvested from Asher’s own system) may help repair some of his damaged organisms and stimulate new cell growth. Sadly, this treatment is not covered by our insurance and we simply do not have that kind of resources.
Asher is still young, and this is the crucial time-window to optimize any possible benefits, large or small, that might help him to learn to walk, talk and see. We hope this therapy will finally allow Asher to be able to play with his brothers, or maybe just sit with them, watch a show and laugh together. The possibilities are endless, and we are eternally hopeful and grateful for your thoughtful considerations.
