On Monday, September 14th, the world lost a vibrant, kind and gentle soul.
Elissa Lillian Denman was full of life, love and laughter. She had a vivacious personality and made friends wherever she went.
Elissa will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Woody and Cynthia, her siblings, Susanna, Hannah and Sam, her nephew Finley and her kind, sweet-hearted son Asher James.
From birth, Asher has and is surrounded by a strong group of family and friends, who have helped in supporting and raising him. But his mom was his everything and seeing them together was absolutely magical. Elissa was Asher’s hero and he adored his mommy. She knew how to perfectly fill his love tank, and their love was true, beautiful, and unconditional.
When Asher’s dad passed away, he was just a baby. All he had were pictures and memories shared by those who knew him. Asher might not be able to fully comprehend why his mom will not be coming home, but we can find peace in knowing that Elissa is home, in the presence of our Savior, at peace, and alive with Him.
