Asher's Fight Fundraiser

This fundraiser is for Asher Buzzard and his family during this challenging time.
Asher is 5 years old from Bay City, MI. Until a few days ago he was just like any other little boy. He started kindergarten, he loved playing Roblox and watching YouTube. He loves animals and treasured petting his kitties every morning. He loved to play outside and his neighbors would constantly see him riding his bike up and down the street. Until everything changed in a heartbreaking turn of events.
On Thursday, September 3rd Asher was rushed to the emergency room with what appeared to just be a rash and a fever. Within a matter of hours he was rushed ambulance to C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan in critical condition. He was admitted into the PICU and an amazing team of doctors began forming a plan to save his life.
On Friday, September 4th Asher was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and life saving measures were begun. He now has a long journey ahead of him with chemotherapy and potentially bone marrow transplants.
The unbelievable part of this whole situation is is that our family is no stranger to childhood cancer. Jacob's first cousin Leda's son Ryker was diagnosed with Leukemia just over a year ago, right before his 5th birthday. Be it chance that lightening can strike this family twice, thankfully Ryker is now in maintenance and is now a invaluable source of support for Asher and his family during this time.
Asher has two amazing parents who love him dearly. Jacob and Melissa Buzzard have been married since 2011, and love spending time with their families and three beautiful sons, Asher (5), Jordan (9), and Jesse (14). Jesse and Jordan are anxiously waiting for their parents and Asher's return home. Like Asher his brothers love playing video games and watching YouTube. They are currently spending time with their families and supporting their brother and parents as much as they can.
For this fundraiser we are asking for funds for living expenses, gas, and transportation for the family to and from Ann Arbor for Asher to receive his treatments. Their family vehicle has 300,000 miles and is not reliable at this time for the family to continually transport Asher in so we are hoping to raise funds to buy a more reliable vehicle for the family as well.
Jake and Melissa want everyone to know that any donations over what is absolutely necessary for them to get through this will be donated back to Family Life Foundation through C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital to help bring joy to all the children fighting cancer in our area.
