On Thursday May 17th, our son Asher A. Majeed and his 5th grade classmates of Paramus East Brook Middle School were traveling to Waterloo Village for their field trip. Tragically, the bus never made it to the destination and crashed. This horrific accident was so destructive that it was a worldwide trending topic and flags throughout New Jersey were directed to fly at half-staff. Asher was in the intensive Pediatric care unit at “Morristown Hospital, NJ" with severe head trauma, facial lacerations and multiple fractures. 
Now, Asher has been transferred to another pediatric facility and is awaiting further intensive surgery on July 12th.
The road to recovery will be a very long and difficult, but we know that Asher is a strong, resilient and a fighter.
